Why Rush Delta Chi
Why Rush Delta Chi?

There are too many reasons why to join Delta Chi to list here. I will try to highlight many of them for you, but to really understand them you must experience it in person. Please feel free to stop by our house at any time.

To help you get acclimated to college life.

No matter what you did to prepare for college in high school, you will not be totally ready for the experiences of attending a 26,000 student university like Kent State University. Delta Chi can make this transition not only easy but extremely fun.

To help you with your classes so that you will receive better grades.

For some reason people think that joining a fraternity will negatively impact your grades. This isn't farther from the truth. In Delta Chi, we strive for academic excellence. Instead of only having you and maybe your parents worrying about your grades, you have about 30 brothers helping you receive better grades. Delta Chi has added a position to the Executive Board, the "G" (Scholarship), who is in charge of monitoring and helping out brothers and associate members with their grades. The "G" has set up a program that brothers must meet a certain number of study hours per week based on their GPA. Those who do more than their required study hours get entered into a contest at the end of the month for a gift card to their resturant or store of choice.

Have a "Home Away From Home"

When you go away to college, you may have a tendency to get a little homesick. Delta Chi will become your family when you are in school. This is the place where you can go to just relax, talk to someone about problems, or just talk about what happened in the game last night.

Experience what we call "The Brotherhood Of A Lifetime"

This is just something that you have to come and see. No words are able to describe this. This is what keeps us together and drives us to achieve all that Delta Chi's do.
